Experimental Protocol SYNERGIA: Interaction of Artefacts with Biological Subject
Voice Transcription – Dr Cuen
Session Thirty-Four. Subject 632 – active. Artefacts: Pyramidion, Orb, and the Cube – calibrated. Link with the Ozdek Pyramid – active.
Primary objectives: assessment of interactive compatibility, evaluation of localised biological reactivity, and preliminary analysis of integrative potential.
The chamber was a masterpiece of technomorphics — a space constructed entirely from adaptive engineering fabrics, responsive to fluctuations in the experimental field’s frequency. The wall panels expanded and contracted like living structures. Their operation was precise, mathematical, devoid of the chaos inherent to biology.
At the centre of the chamber floated the biostabilisation table, suspended within an inertial field.
The entire system was governed by RicSoft-V — a high-computation artificial intelligence from the planet Ertern, developed by the Tech Clan specifically to interface with entities of indeterminate structural nature. From the moment of its activation, the system had been adapting to each successive experiment, learning more about the relationship between the three artefacts and living organisms than any member of the research team.
Lying upon the table was Subject 632 — a young individual of the Homet Niz species. Its body bore the typical proportions of the kind: a slight frame, smooth skin with the hue of neutral light, and characteristically wide eyes, slightly oversized relative to the skull. In outward appearance, it resembled Homo sapiens, albeit at a markedly smaller scale.
Cuen knew that during one of the earlier trials, the surface of the subject’s skin had begun to lose density temporarily — yet now, the entity showed no signs of translucency, a phenomenon still neither replicable nor classifiable.
He stood motionless before the expanded projection panel, beside the biostabilisation table on which Subject 632 lay. Before initiating the activation sequence, he had a moment to spare — and he used it to review the data from Protocol SYNERGIA-9, entrusted to him by Imperador Magno.
In the dim light of the holographic interface, records of the experiment’s critical points scrolled past — phases, trials, the carefully plotted steps toward reclaiming, on behalf of Umerium, the legacy the Dunes had sought to keep for themselves.
?PROTOCOL O1 – Interaction with the Pyramidion
Objective:< Assessment of the subject’s capacity for spontaneous displacement in time and space.
Field Configuration:< T-Zeta modulated wave (temporal), variable wavelength, amplitude 3.4–4.1 SVR.
Auxiliary Compounds:< Neurostabiliser L-9C administered via subcutaneous micro-injection (anti-shock preparation).
Status: Awaiting activation./span>
Cuen glanced at the amplitude parameter and furrowed his brow slightly. It was during this very test that Subject 528 had experienced a localised loss of consciousness followed by irreversible cognitive failure. That Homet hadn’t even had a chance to respond — it had been little more than a shell.
But 632… 632 spoke.
632 came back.
?PROTOCOL O2 – Interaction with the Orb
Objective: To test the subject’s capacity for assimilation or control of high-energy impulses.
Field Configuration: Deep-wave B-Gamma, frequency 1.1 THz, sequential impulse pattern.
Auxiliary Compounds: Type E– hydroplasmatic solution (diluted transmission buffer, ion flow stabiliser).
Status: Calibrated. Previous activation resulted in EEG wave disruption.
Cuen recalled how Subject 590 had undergone an internal implosion — the entire body collapsed into a sphere of energy, then simply extinguished. EEG: flatline. The observers hadn’t even had time to respond. Cuen hadn’t slept for four cycles after that session.
But 632 had withstood fourteen seconds of the impulse — and had terminated it himself.
Not the system.
Not us.
Him.
?PROTOCOL O3 – Interaction with the Cube
Objective: Bodily response to activated matter adaptation.
Field Configuration: K-Delta resonance wave, low-frequency range, spiral modulation.
Auxiliary Compounds: VMD capsule (multicomponent metamorphic regulator), administered orally 24 hours prior.
Status: Ready for passive activation upon feedback signal from the organism.
Cuen had the distinct impression that this artefact understood more than it revealed. The Cube had activated itself, bypassing all procedural safeguards — that was during the third session. On that occasion, Subject 632’s skin had darkened, its structure growing dense, resilient, almost technomorphic.
But that was not the moment etched deepest into his memory.
It was later… when the subject’s skin began to disappear. First on the hands. Then across the chest. It vanished entirely, revealing a lattice of subdermal vessels pulsing like an alien code. There was no pain. No cry. 632 simply lay there, watching — aware that something was unfolding. “As if it were not the body vanishing,” Cuen had thought at the time, “but the boundary between it and something far greater…”
He had never been able to banish that thought from his mind.
It remained the most unidentified phenomenon ever recorded — and it never repeated in any subsequent test.
?PROTOCOL DUAL-S – Pyramidion + Orb
Objective: Attempt to achieve dual synchronisation — simultaneous manipulation of spacetime and energy.
Field Configuration: Integrated M-Mu impulse, activated sequentially at 3/5/8-second intervals.
Auxiliary Compounds: S-Kron synaptic transmodulator (intra-medullary injection).
Status: High risk of instability — deferred to Phase Four or Five.
Cuen marked the field in red. The trial involving Subject 607 had resulted in a spatial anomaly — the test body had been stretched in a non-linear fashion, then dispersed at the particle level. No conclusive analysis of the event had ever been achieved.
It was the first recorded instance in which the artefacts reversed their activation — as if they had rejected the subject themselves.
?PROTOCOL DUAL-C – Orb + Cube
Objective: Assessment of the subject’s capacity for simultaneous adaptation and energy processing.
Field Configuration: Upsilon-Beta wave, alternating oscillation, spiral-linear gradient.
Auxiliary Compounds: Isomorphic fluid type R-5 (cellular reaction accelerator).
Status: Theoretically feasible — not yet tested on a living organism.
Cuen lingered over this entry.
From the standpoint of integration theory, this combination was the most promising — the Orb and the Cube complemented each other functionally: one provided limitless energy, the other could shape the body to receive it. And precisely for that reason, it was also the most unpredictable.
No full-scale trial had yet been conducted on a living organism. All simulations had ended in either destabilisation of internal homeostatic processes or uncontrollable metabolic response.
Cuen didn’t know whether 632 could survive such an event. But one thing was certain — if anyone could, it was him.
«His body isn’t merely a vessel. It’s a dynamic system… as if he’s learning the artefacts faster than we’re learning how they work.»
And instead of fear — he felt curiosity. Genuine, unfiltered. Scientific.
